Generation: Revelation is the Senior Youth Ministry of The Pentecostals of York. Geared toward young people from the ages of 15 to 18 years old, we believe young people are the church of today and that each one holds the potential to become a valuable asset to the Kingdom of God.  We represent a diverse group of students from several different school districts in York County, different ethnic backgrounds and different family situations.  In the rapidly changing, post-modern society in which we live, we strive to create an atmosphere conducive for young people to experience the life-changing Power of God through involvement in Youth Services and Prayer Meetings, and to see that power displayed through community projects and outreach.  We also provide opportunities to enjoy the fellowship of other young people who love God through our many social activities.  We believe teens want more than what this world has to offer.  Today's teen is searching for fulfillment that is not obtainable through drugs, alcohol, sex or entertainment…they desire something REAL!  It is our goal to create an environment where memories and friendships that last a lifetime can be made.  Most importantly, our desire is to equip young people with the ability to develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ that will sustain them throughout adulthood.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       A Pulse is defined as "the regular throbbing of the arteries, caused by the successive contractions of the heart, or the most viable proof of life." A churches vital signs are judged not by the songs or sermons that are preached but by the influence the next generation has!  The generation of today can no longer afford to stand by as spectators in the spiritual world. We have been called to be the very heartbeat and essence of what God is doing in our churches and schools. The Pulse is the Junior Youth Ministry (Ages 12-14) here at the POY. We believe every young person has within them God given abilities and talents that can be used to do mighty works in His kingdom. Our young people can and will influence others and make a difference in these perilous times. We all should check our Pulse from time to time and make sure our hearts are aligned with our Creator.
